I didn't find out until I went to my grandparent's house for lunch.

By that time both towers were burning. Then the first one fell...and then we got a call telling me I had a new baby cousin.

We have an Air National Guard squadron stationed at the local airport, and approx 10-11 AM a couple of F-16's took off in full afterburner headed someplace in a hurry.

At first I thought it was a joke, but it wasn't. So I dashed into my television room to turn on the telly only to have my worst fears confirmed. It was awful. Shock, complete shock. So I called my parents, my Mom was from NYC and we have family there as well, to tell them the news.
