There have been slips in editing in past seasons as well when then show they book the real flight numbers on camera. One example is in TAR8 when I think it was the Godlowski sisters booked for 6 seats on camera (could've been the Paolos though, long time since I saw it).

From what other people say, they book 2 on camera and then book for real right after.

This is an airline technical question that's kinda boring but always had me wondering.

Do you have to book flights for four people? Two racers + sound/camera guy? Or do the sound/camera guy already have seats booked on the obvious flight choices the contestants would make?

I know they go out of their way in the editing to make sure the audience doesn't realize there are four people in the cabs, and I wouldn't put it pass them to just show two tickets pop out....

I wonder how the show would work out if they invited the All-stars back as individuals and created the teams by random drawing at the starting line.

I actually liked the idea of one of the teams on All Stars being a combo of two members of competing teams from a previous season. Of course, in terms of on screen entertainment and leg to leg racing competency, Eric and Jeremy were superior to Eric and Dani. I think if TAR were to attempt another all stars, I think they should make all the teams combinations of previous competitors now racing as teams. Imagine Colin and Mirna racing together! Or Joseph and Flo!

Yea she may have made him want to kill himself, but that doesn't necessarily mean she's a worse teammate. I guess it does take away from teamwork, but it's about who's more competent, not his favourite. I still expect the answer to be Jeremy, but who knows...he won with Danielle, maybe he has his own thoughts.
