It seems like they're casting more and more women whose sole strategy is to flirt and fly UTR. Probably my favorite season to watch over and over is Vanuatu, because that was the last time everyone really played the game hard. And the women on that season were awesome, even if none of them won.

The reason women are getting voted out more frequently now is in direct correlation with my earlier thought in this thread - the type of women they are casting. Its why we need an early merge for once! :P These long, extended pre-merges really screw over the women. They're lucky that 2 guys have been evacuated, or we'd have something similar to Fiji again where only a couple of guys left pre-merge, leaving like 2 women around post-merge.
