The ratings have been fairly stable over the last five episodes (recrap notwithstanding), which bodes well for renewal. The big test will be the ratings for the S20 and S21 premieres. These days there's always a significant dropoff between each season's premieres.

Survivor has had a bigger influence, imo. More people may know about American Idol than Survivor, but Survivor gave birth and opportunity to all the latter day reality shows. Not to mention that...

Nah, the episode Kelly got voted out got 12.9 million viewers, still those are really good numbers for last nights episode.

Wow. Is that Samoa's highest rating so far this season? Great stuff. CBS has got to be impressed. Hopefully they'll be able to keep the momentum going for All Stars 2 next year.

ABC News released their list of The Top 10 Reality Shows of the Decade. Glad Survivor made the list, but if it's supposed to be the top 10 of the decade, I'm not really sure what they were thinking with some of their picks.
