Totally had the same thought. The nerves issue is what seem to cost her. But from what they've let through in the past, she should of at least had a chance to go to Hollywood.

She reminded me a little of Angelina Jolie for some reason...I was surprised she didn't make it but I hear the talent is the best that it's ever been...

She doesn't have the best voice ever, but I am pretty stunned she didn't make it. She sounded kinda nervous throughout the audition though.

I think she is 28 but damn, she is HOT!

Randy and Paula were going to put her through, but Simon jumped in with his objections and they immediately agreed. Anyone whose gone through airforce training can overcome their nerves.

Agreeance on the depreciation sentiment - she wasn't a *great* singer but then again, neither are the vast majority of these hacks. She actually had an interesting backstory not completely conjured up too.

Totally insane! Guys like Josh Gracin have been some of the most popular ever in their seasons, why did they think a beautiful, intelligent and sweet pilot would not be hugely popular in the USA? Especially during pseudo-wartime? Hopefully someone drops out and they see the error in their ways. Or maybe she tries again in another city and miraculously makes it!

Total agreeance. This girl was attractive, had a great story, an engaging personality, and didn't have a spectacular voice but could at least sing fairly well. They've put many much worse people through, and I feel sure there will be at least one girl in the top 24 who doesn't sing any better than this.

Is it possible the judges were wary of a potential problem with her availibilty due to her military obligations? I'm sure the producers have to have some kind of policy in place for this already.
