The wife keeps saying the same thing, and keeps showing me online property listings in the southern place she went to college. She wants to buy a place there for summers. With the Canadian dollar where it is and the real estate collapse there, my objections are hard to justify.

well thanks to the tanked housing market, income here went down and we qualified, glad they picked this year to do it. i'm not spending it either.

the only way you get $300 is if you are retired and on SS or if you didn't make enough wheere you had tio file, which is like $6,000. Everybody else gets $600 if single, $1,200 if filed jointly and $300 per child. up to a income limit of I think $75,00 single, $150,000 married. there are no taxes taken out, it's a straight $300/$600/$1,200

Yeah, I heard a lot of people are getting $300, but money is money... I will prolly use it to help pay for bills and stuff, so it will give me a little extra money to go out with friends.
