I had quit for 4 yrs but fell off the wagon in October for a week (my kid had surgery...freaked me out), then fell off the wagon again in December-smoked for two weeks (I had surgery...freaked me out) and then a week ago (my birthday-freaked me out). I will quit again before it gets to two weeks. It's too friggin expensive to smoke plus I feel like shit. I'd rather smoke weed. Too bad I can't find a connection around here. same. I'll have one or two if I'm out socially. otherwise, I take the odd puff of Mr M's ciggy if I'm drinking. He started again after 3 years without and is smoking 6-7 a day now.

it really bothers me. he gurgles and coughs in his sleep now.

I can take them or leave them, too. I usually only smoke when out with my sister in law (which is once a month or so).

In fact she bought me a pack last month and I haven't even opened them yet.

add me onto the list of people who can smoke whenever but are not addicted. I drink and smoke occasionally but have never been addicted to anything in my life. some people just have weak and addictive personalities. sucks for them.

Tried many times, still do, never got hooked though. My biggest "addiction" would probably be booze and even if I had to quit cold turkey for the rest of my life, I'm sure I'd be just fine and...
