Can we get a new fucking thread already? I bought my first 2009 spring training tickets today. RIP Al Lang, hello new complex in that shithole known as Port Charlotte. Everything was selling out pretty fast, too - only berm seats for the weekend games, so I got Rays/Cards during the week. I'm only driving down there once - McKechnie Field will be my new favorite place to be every March. I'll see the Rays all year anyway. I'll never go back to Steinbrenner/Legends again...

The suspensions were announced Tuesday by Major League Baseball.

The Burrell deal is done - 2 years / $16 mil... and unless there's something going on with Crawford, he's supposedly the new DH. Which sounds odd considering he only hit .250 last year - Cliff Floyd hit .268 and he only cost them $3 mil. No doubt Maddon will have him on the field semi-regularly, being the chessmaster that he is. I'll cosign this.

I can't believe I paid $900 for them BUT kinda feel that part of that shitty stadium in now here forever.
Also bought 4 seats for Sunday Plan all the up in Promenade Infield right over home plate.
