I actually had a hard time listening to the commentary. I think it was the disconnect between what I was hearing and what I was watching. But if you guys say it's awesome, I'll give it another shot.

The cast bit was amazing. Dr. H deriding TV and extolling the advantages of the internet only to get the 'buffering' symbol was amazing. Loved Capt. Hammer praising the cat who can flush a toilet.

Another reason I am actually going to be compelled to watch this year. I expect to be disappointed in the winners, but with NPH hosting and the acts they are supposed to have on tonight, it should make up for it.

I gave my boyfriend the soundtrack and the dvd for Valentine's Day and he's been playing that CD nonstop in his car since he got it. We're still not sick of it.

the commentary is amazing. I do like the songs there more than on the show. I just got it the other day so I haven't memorized them all yet but my favorite songs are the solo, the one about the token asian, and the last song.

I haven't listened to anything but the soundtrack for days. Over, and over, and over.

I'd love to see them remake this as a feature film with extended and new songs, a bit fleshier plot, and bigger budget. It would be the best musical ever. Then we could have the full length broadway show. Then I could move to New York and become one of those psychotic fans who spend every last penny they make working at the gap to afford $700 a week in tickets.
