This shooting location is the local version of that series and its not the next season of American season which will be actually locating in Gabon.

Simple searches reveal Probst, Silverstone, and Van Damme have all been stateside during the month since this "news" broke.

yah i think so too... but then the audition for the castaways are still on going and the taping will be on the latter part of june. I believe that if ever this is true. This taped season will be aired after survivor 17.

This isn't the American Survivor. This is the Phillipines version of Surivor mentioned in this forum ages ago.

I read this somewhere else, but I thought there was already confirmation that next season is filming in Gabon, Africa. I'm praying that they never do a celeb edition.

According to some sources in the said area, they were prohibited to enter the location because survivor is currently taping its season. And the locals say that they have jeff probst and a production with talks of celebrities doing reality tv. Sources also say that they are sure that they have Alicia Silverstone and Jean Claude Van Damme on the island.

this is probably not survivor 17. But is pretaped for future airing.
