But GG says it is ok to put stuff on youtube. So you would definately reccomend not to do that?

GG is right. Casting does not waste their time looking at the boards but they do search places like myspace and utube.

Put your stuff out there and take a risk.

I would have to agree with GG. I'm in the "seven-ish" zone myself (GG my love, I think I got you beat by a smidge at the moment...), and have had no issues with stuff i put online.

Oh and let me finally dispell the rumor:

DON'T BE AFRAID TO POST!!! They don't care about you people....not unless you make semi-finals or finals and then they tell you to keep it quiet... here's how I know:

1. i have been picked for 7 (yes) 7 semi-finals for these shows and though I have never made it on (yes...sux I know) it hasn't been from posting or videos on u-tube...in fact I have been called twice as a result of videos on u-tube. They don't...

Maybe people who put their videos online give themselves a BETTER chance of getting chosen, not the opposite. CBS.com had a section for people to post their videos. CBS wasn't trying to screw people up, they were trying to find interesting applicants.
