They aren't that far from civilization. When voted out they take a boat ride then a car ride to the Ponderosa. James said in his interview it was almost a week before he got to the Ponderosa, but he's on the jury, so he makes the trip from the hospital to the TC every day or so.

Which also brings up how could James/Alexis be in the "production area" to steal food. They are on the island alone, they even take boats to the Challenge beach. So that rumor is bullshit....

They can easily start an IV, take some labs, start some IV antibiotics, give them every 12 hours and keep the game going. They can't do surgery out there, but any IV antibiotic or supply can be available in 24 hours.

No, they can't. IV sites have to remain as sterile as possible, seeing as it is PUMPING DIRECTLY INTO YOUR VEIN.

Since we have seen evidence of medical treatments off camera (some shots with bandages on contestants, etc...) They could EASILY treat these infections on the island off camera. Contestants can sign a waiver, and stay in the game. I bet they already sign massive waivers.

i think any kind of viewer vote will got Parvati, providing she doesn't win. She's had a high profile edit and she topped the Cook Islands popularity polls a few times and she was up against more popular people there (in the eyes of the casual viewer of course)

Oddly enough they really didn't seem to make a big deal with James' exit. Not nearly as dramatic as Jonathan, for someone who seemed like he was in the Steph/Poopert territory. And his edit wasn't all that great either. It's like James suddenly refuse to suck CBS's cock between China and Micronesia, so they dumped him.
