I'd be very surprised if this didn't settle out of court for a nominal amount. Her biggest problem will be proving damages. She wasn't really injured.

If the lawyers feel strongly about her case they may not even require Megan to pay them up front, they'll just offer to take a percentage of whatever settlement she's provided. Especially in a high profile case like this.

Love or hate Megan, there is a viable court case here. The only thing I'm not certain about is whether the contract that Megan signed to be on CS is going to come into play. We haven't seen the contract though, and I imagine it wouldn't allow contestants to sue VH1, but would allow them to sue individuals not affiliated with VH1. And does the contract even cover the reunion?

All in all, if it goes to court Megan will win...

It'll settle out of court for a nominal sum that won't even put a dent in Sharon's assets and give Megan a little money to buy more bikinis. The ones who will benefit the most are the attorneys raking in their exorbitant fees and padding the "costs." Within couple of months we'll hear that a settlement has been reached, along with a confidentiality clause barring either party from disclosing how much was paid and any other terms of the settlement.
