Cary on is probably one of the absolute worst performances of the whole season... it's god awful... only eight days a week and we gotta work it out and maybe mr. tambourine man rival it in awfulness.

Ummmm... she didn't sing a song by that name. She did sing ... You Must Love Me - though, and other than the start over ... she was great on the song.

It's a serious list. Aside from Carry On Wayward Son, Amanda's other 4 performances were all interchangably screamed. If somebody wants to put ALL FIVE of them on their list they won't get an argument from me. But Carry On's whole arrangement was so over the top that I thought it was her worst by a good margin. It would have been a mess even with a good vocal.

I don't give a shit if the viewers weren't offended by Amanda. I was as everything she did was a streaming pile of shit, an absolute trainwreck or a piss poor impersonation, sometimes all 3.

What was most offensive about Amanda though had nothing to do with her being untalented but the fact that she didn't even want to be in the competition.

She was fucking miserable the entire time, even while getting undeserved tongue baths from the judges. She was even more...

The opening list on this thread foolishly includes a lot of good performances, but there ARE plenty of real turkeys on it too, and at least it's a great starting point for discussion. Here's my list, in reverse boot order. I've left most of the semifinalists out, since I need to rewatch the tapes to refresh my memories. A * designates a true trainwreck. The rest are my choice for the person's personal worst.
