This last episode was decent, I thought. Well, no, more specifically, it was worth it to get to see Juanita using the pool chalk as eye shadow. She makes the show for me.

I have 4-5 episodes saved. I just didn't enjoy the 30 min format, so I thought maybe watching them together in succession in a marathon will help. Or not.

Oh don't get me wrong. I HATE his acting or lack there of. He is Del Shore's partner so I am pretty sure we know how the audition went. I just like the eye candy/man on man junk. Its like a nice flashback to QAF, and a reminder how good that series actually was.

I can say I 100% don't think it's any good. It's just a regurgitated version of the movie, and not as good. They only thing worth watching for is the eye candy of the LA guys.

I have to assume since no one has posted in over a month others are not feeling it either.

I agree completely. These last couple eps were much better. I've watched them both over and over and they really hold up. (Okay, I've watched all the Juanita bits like 20 times.) I tend to FF through the Ty bits because I really dislike this Ty. I wasn't crazy about the movie Ty, but this Ty just seems pathetic and boring to me.

Oh, God, I loved Noleta hiding her vibrator in the oven mitt.

And Brother Boy's determination to give Tammy Wynette at least ONE...

Their characters were just like they were in the movie. I think that's how it should be. I just wish it was longer, but has me looking forward to next week to get it going!

I loved all the pill-popping. And Sissy going on and on about how she's never known anyone who died in a ditch. (Especially because I say that all the time and she is SO right.) Beth Grant is a national treasure.

I better get some Juanita soon, dammit.

God, I wish I had an aunt LaVonda.

Seaguy - you hit it square on!!! My friend was actually trying to help me understand it better with his Sordid Lives 101. I hate the queens that squeal out the lines to all of our campy classics. Only movie you can do it at is Rocky Horror or a sing-a-long Sound of Music. I just didn't think get as caught up as much as they did about the movie. It's just like gay guys with their Madonna, Baby Jane and Cher obessions. I don't get them either. Not to say that I don't have any...

ILC--I really HATE when people sit and quote movies OUT LOUD when you are trying to watch them. And then they say "Oh watch this part". STFU and watch the fucking movie and leave me alone! I guess I'm in the minority here and didn't find the movie funny. I saw it twice with friends and then again with a friend from Texas who stopped the movie every other minute to show me how true and authentic the movie was by explaining to me every little detail in it. That being said, it's great that Logo has got the series. It may help get them more viewers. It's a good first step in trying to become the true gay network compared to Bravo which really is THE gay network.
