It's really not the show that's the problem, it's America/ABC.

Too me Mole 2 was the only good season. Great cast, great challenges, great moments. The show just lacks momentum.

So sad, I had such high hopes. I think this season is pretty good, I do think there were some production and casting mistakes that hurt it big time. Several people I have tried to get to watch say that not enough was going on and they thought it was boring. They should have followed closer to style of seasons 1 and 2... I do hope it makes another Resurrection after this season but that may be hard to do it yet again...

Nope. The Mole 1 held up respectable ratings, they just wern't amazing like Survivors were.

The Mole tanked in the ratings in 2000. The Mole tanked in the ratings in 2001. The Mole tanked in the ratings in 2008.

The Mole didn't premiere until 2001. Season one DEFINITELY did not tank in the ratings. It was no Survivor, but it certainly held its own.

The Mole always sucked in overall ratings but, IIRC, it did really well in the 18-whatever demographic and that's why ABC kept it around. Was that just the Celeb ones, though?

You know, having Kathy Griffin host would probably boost the ratings. Maybe they should just do that?

And does anybody think that because The Mole was the most successful thing in ABC's Monday Night Lineup that it could possibly be revived somehow?

I wish they placed the mole in Greece like in Santorini or in Africa...I have no problems, I love that a lot of them have brainy jobs--doctors, lawyers, scientists...I love the name, I bet it takes a lot of creativity to make up the games, moreso than Survivor or Big Brother games so I hope it doesn't get cancelled but I fear its over
