I know. For me, though, Californication's bleak unsexiness made it dreary and not a lot of fun. This show's sexiness makes it more fun.

Couldn't disagree more. Californication was the unsexiest show about sex imaginable. I think there are moments of this one that are genuinely hot.

I've watched the first two eps, I liked Californication MUCH more as a follow up to Weeds, this one hasn't grabbed me yet. I keep wondering what the point is.

I just found this show scrolling through OnDemand (thank God I don't have to download Weeds/Californication/Dexter anymore), and after the first episode, I've decided I'm just going to fast foward through the episodes to see if she ever gets naked.
