As I said earlier in this thread, I consider Sunday In The Park With George to be one of the 3 best musicals of all time, have been obsessed with it since I was 9. Take a look at the DVD of the original cast that is out there, Bernadette Peters and Mandy Patinkin were stunning (and I usually hate him) and its one of the few musicals ever to win the Pulitzer Prize for drama.

Sutton Foster being in Shrek is actually one of the few reasons I wouldnt want to see it, I am just not a fan...

I'd go see Sutton Foster in anything. Or her brother for that matter. Talent oozing out of that DNA.

But I am it total agreeance that Disney should stick to movies & quit the musical biz. I'd like to see an original musical made for the wee set. That would be fantastic.

Thanks diss for that info on "George". I heard the announcer but none of what he said made much sense & then I saw the scene with a WTF was that? I still don't think I would enjoy that play.

Disney has a nemo musical in the Animal Kingdom which is awesome.

The problem with lion king is it couldn't decide if it was a cool ethnic show or a disney show. 80% of the show was cool african sounding music. Then we have hakuna matata randomly tossed in which is completly off the wall.
