I loved the emphasis on the court room last season, but it has been nice to slightly remove ourselves from that element and flesh out these characters a little more. Albeit, with some of the cast getting lost in the shuffle from week to week. Blonde haired Public Defender dude has had virtually no screen time... I still don't know his name and I have been...

The producers must have been reading boards all over the net...so many people were saying the show was great and his hair sucked. Also, he switched to Windsor knots!!!

And the Fallon clip is one of the funniest things I have seen in a long time.

Just watched the premiere... really impressed/quite satisfied.

They could have tried a little harder to involve the entire cast, but overall, if you were watching this show for the first time you got a strong idea of what the show is and how it presents itself.

I now look forward to this show - for me, it only continues to grow.

MPG said in an interview that the hair was becoming a sideshow distraction, so it had to go. People were focusing so much on the hair and ignoring the rest of the show (probably because the hair was more interesting than the rest of the show).

He gets a haircut halfway through this first episode of season two--his client is a barber, and during voir dire one potential juror said he didn't trust MPG's character because his suit was disheveled and he had long hair. He called him a dirty hippie! Plus, all the other characters spent the first half of the show harassing him about his hair. So he cut it.

I saw a promo with Mark-Paul Gosselaar with short hair!

Didn't watch any of the episodes in the regular season, but watched 3 episodes that were aired last week. Except for Zach's hair, I liked the show. It was really distractingly unappealing. I'm going to give the new season a shot.

Um...no...his hair is still disgusting based on the preview I saw on TNT.

Teddy Sears is still smashing in his suits as a counterbalance...and ironically HE got a haircut!!!

A well done and fitting finale. I look forward to Season 2 as this show has been able to be successful without blowing all of it's potential arcs in the first 10 episodes.

And I thoroughly enjoyed the last scene as I am sure it sent even bigger Saved by the Bell nerds then me into a complete and utter tailspin.

Overall Season 1 Grade for Raising the Bar: B+

Me, kinda. I like MPG and would have at least checked the show out if only because of the possibility of him taking off his shirt or something. But with that hair.......I just can't. Checking into this thread every now & then is the closest I've been able to come to actually watching the show.
