I have a co-worker that took a file off my desk to help someone when i was out of the office, she is the messiest worker on the planet and it took me 20 min just to put the file back in order, wtf!

At one job I had, someone went into my drawer, ripped off the pages of the notepad I was using, left those in the drawer, and took the rest of it. It was a nice padded one with the company logo on it.

The leaving stuff on the desk reminds me of that one episode of News Radio when people would keep leaving food on Bill's desk.

I hate people who take shit off your desk without asking you! I used to work at a small place where the receptionist was the boss' flunky/spy/buddy and got away with a lot of shit. There was a creepy old vampira lady who used to sort through the things on my desk for a time. She also snuck up behind me and played with my hair a couple times. She finally stopped sexually harassing me when the old drunk lady (with the baked apple puffy flesh) who sits in the corner told her she was making a total asshole of herself. For which I am thankful.

I have a coworker who LEAVES stuff on my desk. A gardening catalog here, a recipe I didn't ask for there, the coupon for a free sammich for a place I don't eat. Argh. I either put it in the trash or I deposit it back on their desk.

...without telling you should be fired on the spot...i just spent 10 mintues looking for a file...i even looked in the bathroom and i NEVER take files into the bathroom...i mean, who does THAT anyway?

i found the culprit and i am now plotting a way to get back at him.
