Just saw this last night waiting for Tropic Thunder.
Great visuals...too bad it got buried by the Batmania.
It is worth seeing in theaters.

You know, I was actually much more excited to see this film this summer than TDK, being that I found the last Batman movie extremely dull. But sadly, I really didn't enjoy Hellboy II all that much. I was bored about 20 minutes in, and nothing in it really blew me away.

It was pretty bad. But not worse then Indiana Jones. The first one was sort of a sleeper hit because the characters were so great even if the story was weak. This one the storyline had a bit more potential but I found myself not really caring about any of the characters.

Piece of crap. I man not The Happening bad, but not a whole lot better. I think I was the only one in the theater that didn't think the Barry Manilow part was the funniest thing in the world.

I still liked it. Just prefer the first, which really worked for me.

Saw Hellboy, it was pretty good. Some of the acting was pretty bad, but it was still entertaining. Loved the Barry Manilow bit.

I love del Toro. He made me love Blade II after the first one convinced me the character should've stayed in the comics. I'm so jazzed about there even being a Hellboy II, I won't care if it's not perfect.

I'm looking forward to this too. I had no desire to see the original Hellboy, but then it was the second movie at the drive-in one night, so we stayed. I was very pleasantly surprised.
