The problem with bad habits is most people can't manage the moderation part.

I quit Feb 5 2008. I took my first long car trip a few weeks ago 1400 miles not one cig did chew a lot of gum. I stayed with my MIL who smokes non stop in her house (that was hard). I miss it once in a while but not daily I don't miss the smell.

I could never smoke in moderation. Depends on what your definition of moderation is.

You can do anything you want to do in life, even smoke. You have to do it in moderation. That's the key.

You can't smoke and eat at the same time because breathing can not take place when swallowing is occuring. Also, you would lose much of the sensation of taste through not being able to smell the food.

I don't want to hear any anti-smoking crap in here, I just want to reminisce about after-dinner smokes, sneaking out of boring work days for a drag, and knowing what was going to kill me rather than having to wait it out like everyone else.
