^ Does it have FM radio? I loved my IPOD but the fact that those don't have radio kind of sucked. The crappy generic one I have for now has radio in it although the reception is shit it seems (I used it this morning in my walk/jog) and I am open to buying something else. I can't afford an IPOD right now plus I am still pissed it broke just like that.

Get a Sandisk. They're cheap MP3 players, but I've used mine at the gym and working on the house for 3 years now. I got a 1gb one for like $35. The only drawback I have with them is they take AAA batteries, but I just got some rechargeable ones.

I didn't read Angela's thread and my ankle is fine...My foot just completey went to the side and I toppled over, splaying out onto the road.

The sidewalk is uneven b/c it has cracks and the surface can go from high to low b/c it's not smooth but the actual street is pretty even meaning no massive uphill, downhill which many long stretches of road have.

A lot of people walk/jog on the sidewalk on this road b/c it's a long stretch of pretty even ground (not downhill/uphill) and it's busy but it's also a residential neighborhood so it's not like I was booking it on the highway. In the street though? Mostly the bikers..and apparently me til today.

There was a moment this morning when a bit of pretzel from my Chex Mix Bold Party Blend™ got lodged in my throat. Fortunately for me, I saw some fucking idiot jogger totally flatten himself on the road like a toddler tripping over his shoestrings and I laughed so fucking hard, it coughed that shit right out. I have been trying to get my jog/walk on hoping to get in shape for the last month and this morning I was jogging on the side of the road - it's a 4 lane busy street w/ 2 lanes in both directions and the shoulder isn't that big - when I completey wiped out. I stepped on a rock or twig, not sure but my right ankle/foot completey went to the right and I toppled over scratching my hands and basically destroying my IPod. Anyway, I looked up immediately only to see a gold minivan...
