I just looked up Umbrella on youtube. It sucks. I almost turned it off when that fuckwad was yammering away in the beginning. As it is, I only watched half. Her voice is awful.

The first time I ever heard of her was on So You Think You Can Dance, and she was terrible then, obviously lipsynching a Tainted Love ripoff. I shall never like her, no matter what she does.

I love Rihanna.

I love all of her uptempo songs, except I hate the opening rap on Umbrella. Her ballads are hit and miss, and generally I find the remixes of her ballads a lot better than the original. I like Take A Bow, but the Tony Moran & Warren Rigg remix of it is a lot better.

She is really big in the clubs. She had 7 consecutive number 1s on the Billboard Dance/Club Play chart. Breaking Dishes was the first one to fail to reach number one.

I don't like any of Rihanna's ballads, Rehab included (thought a lot of people love it for some reason). It's a good beat and good lyrics wasted on weaker vocals. She does not sound good singing slow(er) songs at all, the only one I can stand is We Ride.

Now, when she's singing songs like SOS, Disturbia, and Don't Stop the Music...she's perfect, because then we have other things to concentrate on.

And yeah, Umbrella's much better when it's just Rihanna singing by herself. I usually skip Jay Z's part. It's just pointless.

I like Disturbia and Don't Stop the Music and I think that's it.

I actually am a fan of Umbrella, but when I bought it on iTunes, I didn't realize that it came with that shit rap for the first 30 seconds.

HATE Take a Bow, SOS, Shut Up and Drive, and all of the other mindless songs.
