The original version of The Prisoner does not hold up because most things that were special about the show were firmly rooted in the 60s and are no longer relevant. That and most of the show's appeal was centered in Patrick McGoohan.

Have you seen any reruns of this show lately? Likely not, because the show just doesn't hold up.
