The first half hour of Tropic Thunder was pretty funny, but the movie didn't hold my interest. The whole Tom Cruise thing struck me as more bizarre and pathetic than funny, too.

Tropic Thunder was funny from start to finish. Ben Stiller deserves a Teen Choice Award for Best Full-On Retard, and I'm pretty sure Jack Black has excised his inhibitions permanently. I love how you can tell the man is completely without censor, it's brilliant in this movie. And Downey does the best Russell Crowe impersonation I've ever seen.
