I got my red buff in the mail yesterday and I actually really really like it. It's a lot better in person than it is in the picture.

a white buff would be brown by the time day 2 rolled around--or by the time chet realized there wasn't any toilet paper. (sorry chet, i had to). they probably wouldn't do green for gabon b/c with all the grass around, it would blend in too well.

Wow how nice of them to change one tribe's color from gold to yellow.

Just for the record, this is the seventh tribe with a red buff.

And the eleventh tribe with a yellow/gold buff.

Red and yellow again? They did that the first time in Africa. And they did it for China and Vanuatu. They need to give yellow a rest. They used it in 10 of 16 seasons, and yellow doesn't exactly vary in shade without changing to a different color like blue or green (That's why I'm not saying they should give blue and green a rest).

You cant usually see the buff designs anyway, maybe this time becuase of HD, but... what really concerns me is that those overcomplicated tribal masks are going to be reoccuring themes... check out the flags at the first challenge.
