dans shot was really coool. i think the best part is right before dan's shot, when the music goes from really soft to loud and you see dan/michelle and the tribe in the challenge, loved that

Also, I hope they do full titles with everyone in their tribes, rather than shortening it on the 2nd episode.

Thought the intro was pretty good. Like the music straight away this time around and the jumping snake is awesome. The night vision shot looks crap and out of place though. Not that many stand out shots of contestants either. I liked Ace's, Crystal's and Paloma's but all the rest are pretty much the same old stuff. Oh, and Kelly rolling the boulder is pretty cool to.

Paloma gets the typical "America Sweetheart" look in the intro. Awesome intro with some great shots. I personally really liked Matty, Kelly and Ken's.

I don't like the random nightshot of that cheetah before Ace, it doesn't fit...But the rest is awesome! I agree, Paloma's smile is so cute...

Dan got a GREAT intro, btw...3 big shots in the beginning and an eagle? Wow.

M.D. The tribe names are Fang and Kota Also noticed at the end Jeff says he's hoping for a third good season in a row. I take it he didn't think Fiji was good.

The music for the second half of the wildlife clip was totally not western african. I hope they don't try to fob off too much kenyan stuff. Africa is a very big continent!

Loved the intro video, but I noticed that once again there were no tribe names....I'm guessing that's coming in week 2?

They also seem to have forgotten the "One Survivor" caption at the end.

I had actually emailed Russ a couple of days ago asking him about how the song production was going and he said the following:

- He did not go to Gabon this time.
- He had recorded so much tribal music the last time in Kenya and he had a lot of unused tracks he could work with this time around.
- He did send a couple of crews out to Gabon! They recorded the sounds of the Bwiti tribe.
- He also said that he thought the finished...

Agreed, but I think these two action shots are at least better than China since one of them is reminiscent of a smiling photo.
