I am just speculating based on Randy/Matty's/Sugar's edit. Matty has been shown at odds with Crystal/Ken on. Sugar has had a big edit and has been shown to not be too happy with Ken. It's possible that Matty/Sugar realize they need to take out a couple of the onion alliance members, before they make their move against Kenny/Crystal. If they are smart that is what they will do, or it just might be Randy that figures out after Marcus is voted out that is what he needs to do to have...

and Bob has been simply astounding in challenges.... better in fact than many of the younger people.

Matty has something that the other players don't really have... his story is directly tied to the theme of the show...Earth's Last Eden. He introduced us to that theme in the 1st 5 minutes of the show.... and he has been consistently shown to relate the game play to the Eden theme. Survivor loves the themes... they regularly tied Earl to the Have/Have Not theme, Todd was tied...

If you ascribe to the theory that the winner has a confessional interspered during Probst's opening narrative which ends with "18 people, 39 days, 1 Survivor!", then Matty is the only one of the 6 contestants who gave those confessionals that can win. I think we have one of three winners

Randy - Has been the protypical player this season, thats not to say he wins or loses Cirie, Yau-Man, James, Jonathon, Terry all had the same amount of face time. My guess is that Randy is the "star" of the show who makes it to the final five or final three. But with all of that said Randy has been portrayed and played the game like a snake. He has made it clear that he will allign with or eliminate anyone so that he can survive....

I had some thoughts this morning. Namely, we've all been assuming that the main biblical metaphor going this season is the Adam/Eve kicked out of the garden story. And this storyline has been central to game, particularly with the actions on Fang and the Ace boot. This metaphor revolves around Sugar (Eve), Kenny (the Snake), Matty (Adam), and Ace (God). - Susie is P.I.Sandra but with loose lips. She is playing a less successful social game and I think she will make F3 by whoring her vote every time.

- Don't make too much of the Sugar/Matty alliance, methinks. Sugar is being edited as "last person to talk to her gets her trust." She is too flippant, and people who rely on her will fall hard....

ok, so the editors have been wet for the whole genesis theme ever since james's soundapplebite/present to them in china and understandably so. it's a nice twist on the whole morality/ethics of playing survivor that they've been working with since season 1. it allows them to ramp up the symbolism and subtexty shit...

Prefacing this- This is pretty much pure spec- going by editing, Probst's comments, and a tiny, tiny hint from a MySpace page.
