I tried to watch. The first few minutes looked interesting... then they started talking about someone they had almost caught in another episode might be involved and I changed that channel. I have enough shows where I have to keep up with - I like ones like CSI where it doesn't matter if I miss an episode.

This show had such potential. The plots are interesting, but the writers/directors/producers just don't know how to get their act together. If they're going to keep Rachel, and I assume they are, then give her acting lessons and decent lines. She's supposed to be his body guard, and he is a scientist. So why are they hunting down the criminals and going on the chase?? In last night's episode, they charge into a motel room looking for a suspect. As soon as they barge...

"Rachel" can't act. Period. She has the same snooty I'msobeautiful expression on her face every single flippin moment. She's supposedly Hood's bodyguard yet the last couple episodes she suddenly is in on the scientific investigations. They should cut her from the show and let him investigate on his own.

the chick makes it not believable for me. Maybe its because I think of the movie "Trojan War" every time I see this actress and when she tells Hood to wait while she pulls her gone and goes all commando... well I just get a twinge of why the fuck am I watching this dumb ass show. Everything else seems ok. I think its all her. She's like a girly girl with a gun. Other than that, I have to admit, I ::::sigh:::: they cancel shows like Eli Stone, DSM, and Pushing Daisies and leave this shit on the networks. I know those other three are from the alphabet network and not CBS but come on.... even Moonlight was better than this drivel and it was a CBS show.

Dear God, this is an awful show. I've always been a Rufus fan but.. just, no.

His fumbling attempt at an American accent is causing me great anxiety. I need to turn this shit off.

I've watched it every week, but I haven't seen last nights ep yet. I like it a lot surprisingly. It grows on you. I love how they are starting to do the funny asides with all the chicks digging on the goofy scientist. It's so funny to see him as the good guy.

Last night was a fairly good episode. I'm a bit disappointed with the hinting at a relationship with his dog-sitter who happens to be a friend of his dead wife. Not that I wanted him in a relationship with the female bodyguard, but still, there's no need to rush him into a relationship this early in the season.

Their special effects in the autopsy room were fairly cheesy, but the skin-eating virus was realistic looking. At least, I think it was.

Rufus has always played the fucked up bad guys so I love seeing all the ladies get all oogly boogly over him. It's fun and well honestly I've been oogly boogly over him for over ten years now. Finally caught up on all the eps. I really like this show. Hopefully it will stay under the slayer radar and stick around. I watched the last three eps in a row due to RL crap getting in the way and find myself actively looking forward to the next one.

I watched it tonight, too. The coroner was obvious from the first autopsy as was cryogenics, but it was still a good episode. I felt sorry for the guy wanting to stay alive to see his son.

Okay, here's a weird question. Did Rufus used to have an unusual eye?

Hubby and I watched this tonight (beware that it doesn't go the way of My Own Worst Enemy) and my teenager watched it with us, too. I found it interesting that there were multiple ladies eyeing the main character as a sexy scientist. He does have that quality about him, but then I always like the quirky scientist type in these shows.
The coroner (or whatever he was) revealed just a bit too much in his "Death is natural" speech, but I enjoyed the episode nonetheless....
