Oh yeah he didn't ask. Sugar did give him the idol before though. His reason was realistic since she had immunity and he was vulnerable to a possible Fang alliance though

I love Sugar but I don;t get why people are saying she is so smart here.

It was Kenny who made the move. He lied to Sugar about Ace wanting to vote her off. Matt wanted to vote her off not Ace.
Kenny real brilliant move was telling Sugar that Ace would ask her for the idol.
It was when Ace did ask for the idol that Sugar started to believe Kenny's lie.

I really want Crystal gone. She is whiny, doesn't know how to play the game, has a bad social game...

Kenny had a 4 person alliance with Matty, Sugar, and Ace. He took a big risk trying to take matters into his own hands when he could've just done the safe thing and hope that the other alliance would carry him

I liked Ace and Sugar, but this episode made me realize that I like Sugar more. I was literally shocked when she flipped, and I actually liked her for it.
