Well, I think Randy bids on an anonymous plate and wins rice. Then, Crystal wins a steak. Randy says, "Sasquatch, that's cannibalism to eat that, you cow!" And Crystal says, "Shut up and eat yo rice!"

Or it could be a snarky comment that Randy makes about someone who holds on to their money waiting for something better only to have the auction end. And as he is chomping away, he makes the comment as a sarcastic one to the player who is left with the 500.

Yeah., I'm pretty sure they'e always been able to keep the money. I know it's even been mentioned on the show in at least one season, although I couldn't say which one for sure. Think about it, have you ever seen Probst asking for the remaining money back at the end of the auction? I'm wondering if they'll have letters up for auction. I know they have had them at the end for some seasons, but they did already give letters to half of them. I wonder if Fang knows Kota...

I like this idea. Maybe the comfort starts to offer options. Food or things. There is no advantage to holding onto the money in an auction excepting the notion that what comes next is better.

I think it's always been an option, just that no one has ever thought that $500 was worth more than food at that point in the game.

I doubt anybody [besides Randy] would do that, they've been starving for over 20 Days, overpaying for food is music to their ears at that point.

With the whole 'temptation' theme, and the food auction being complete temptation, maybe Randy holds out on any bidding until the end, then it ends, so he just says the title quote? Randy seems to not give into temptations as seen with the idol that got put out to sea..
