That would seem to be true in philosophy but a person who participates in spoiling or hard speculation could run circles around average fans when it comes to knowledge and understanding.

I try to stay away from spoilers but they always have a way of leaking into the rest of the forum.. you know it, a lot of people who make "predictions" (like in the B/H/G threads) claim they don't read them but they're liars.. like the ones "predicting" that Sugar would quit in the finale even though it was discussed in the spoiler forum.

But anyway, the absence of substantial spoilers...

I also pretty much stayed away from spoilers this season (not that there were all that many of them, apparently), and enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I found it pretty refreshing to be able to watch the show and guess what was going to happen instead of having knowledge beforehand.

First off, by that logic, then you have nothing to brag about if we're wrong, yet you do anyway.

Second off, there's a difference between just picking names out of a hat sort of guessing and using the edit and past editting techniques to determine the best fit character sort of guessing.

Too many had F2/F3 or bootlist spoilers out pre-game. Gabon's lack of a bootlist or F3 spoilers made it really fun to try and guess how it played out. The boards lit up in a way they haven't in a very long time- and I hope we're flying relatively blind again this season.

Can we all agree that spoilers were a total disaster in Gabon? They got it all wrong and showed that without Snewser, their ability to predict the winner is absolutely horrible. I thought it deserved a lot of laughs and finger pointing because it really was a horrendous showing.
