Hmm, "Sweater Song" is kind of neat.

Not surprised SHC would like it given it's acoustic sound. Love the random explosion of instruments towards the end however.

I like the rock thing w/ a little bit of reggae flavour too.

Bedouin Soundclash are one of my favourite bands.

I like there reggae-esque stuff. Never Too Late is one of my fav songs by them.

I liked "Perfect" as well and "9 Shades of Red," "Friends" is good too and "Shelter" so pretty much the same ones as you, lol.

I can't tear myself away from the "Sweater Song" long enough to listen to any of the other ones though.

This CD is a lot less rock.� It's still a pretty good album.� I don't�know what they were thinking releasing those�2 songs either, but�maybe they're trying to get away from their ballads.� They are catchy though.� I like "Sweater Song" too.� I also like "Perfect", "Friends" and "Shelter".

So I acquired Hedley's new CD just to check it out. Its not as good as their first two efforts imo but its half decent. There are some crappy songs on it but also some real gems. "Cha-Ching" and "Don't Talk To Strangers" the two singles are hands down the worst pieces of crap on the album, whoever chose those for the singles should be shot. DTTS is one of the worst songs I've heard in a while.

That said I'm absolutely addicted to "Sweater...

Whatever, this country doesn't know how to do reality shows well. We are stuck with never having anything decent of our own due to our proximity with the US. Sucks but oh well. I kinda made peace with KI and am now over it. Thanks to the Internets, we can watch OZI and Factor UK and other worldwide Idol shows.

Someone asked Sass on twitter if it's coming back as couple days ago. She has no idea and told them to ask CTV. I'm sure she gets tired of people asking her. I totally forgot that CTV also does Kanada's Next Top Model.

Yeah CI is probably still canceled but the auditions weren't held until February anyway, they always ended in Toronto in April. Technically CI can still hold auditions this year and air during the summer but its obviously not going down like that.

I'll bite and say Rob James was actually talented and I'd add Sarah to the list but she was not exciting or that entertaining really.

Yeah CTV owns the rights to Idol franchise in Canada through 2010 so if they don't officially relinquish them to another network no one else can pick it up until 2011. That said I doubt any other network will pick up CI. It will be interesting however to see if any of them try and get the...

It was a given that Dance was gonna replace Idol. I knew it from the second Idol was "put on hold" and Dance was brought in.

Anyways, doesn't the contract for KTV's rights to Idol end in 2010? After that, they'd have to renew it right?

If so, it's gone for good, unless Global or KBC picks it up but those who are cheaper than KTV.

According to this article SYTYCD Canada is holding auditions around the time CI used to and is likely to take over CI's summer slot. Not a huge surprise I suppose. I wonder if CI will ever be 'officialy' cancelled. The article also mentions the fact that Eva is working on a full French language album, which should please some people here I imagine.

SHC, I don't know anyone who was happy with Leah winning (and that includes comments I've seen from people who aren't Theo fans). To be honest, I figured that if it wasn't Theo who won it (and you KNOW I had been hoping for him), it would have been Russell Peters.
