They were US citizens.

My uncle just came from Costa Rica a couple of years ago and took his citizenship test and passed. And I had a canadian teacher that did the same thing.

In other unrelated and useless news..Kim Mullen was Miss Ohio 2002 and it seems Candace was Miss Ohio 2003. One year apart..lets see if Candace can do better than Kim.

ETA: I'm fully expecting Miss Ohio 2004 to be on season 24 of Survivor.

I don't really know how US laws work, but I'm pretty sure becoming a US citizen doesn't take a lifetime to achieve. Anyone of us Canooks could move to the States and be elligible for Survivor after a while.

I think the topic starter was saying Carolina was Panamanian, unless I'm mistaken. To the best of my knowledge, Kel was the only Canadian...and well, he wasn't exactly the best representative for us, lol.
