The original novels by Val McDermid are great as well. Although of course I always see Robson Green as Tony Hill in my mind's eye now.

For me it was the journalist being strangled and tortured in the back of the van.
Her absolute terror almost broke me. But ku-fucking-dos to the actress for doing that. Holy shit. That scene will never leave my mind.

There was one episode in season 5 and 2 in season 6 that gave me chills in a serious way.
Just creeped me the fuck out.

But more than a few in seasons 1-3 horrified me.
Robson Green, for a short man, is kinda hawt.

The first three series/seasons of Wire in the Blood are great, but last three.... repetitive with flashes of brilliance, and the major cast change was not for good. The last three seasons are still better than 90% of US TV, but not as great as seasons 1-3.

The worst one was the 5th season movie, which takes place in Texas. It is obvious which actors are Brits and which are real American actors. Very few Brits can do US accents right.

Also, I have been watching WIre in the Blood. If anyone needs something fantastic to watch - watch this show. It is like Millennium and Frank Black wrapped in a Criminal Mind suit with a dash of FUCKED UP. I love UK cop shows. Thanks for the tip. PM.

Would you have a link to Season 6, episodes 5&6 and 7&8? I can't find them anywhere!

I'll definitely re-watch the first 7 episodes. By the time January comes around, I will need a refresh on it. And if they add some extra scenes, even better.

And I agree about Life. Such a great show and so disappointing that another network didn't pick it up.

I worry about the audience that is already in place not feeling all that compelled to come BACK for the first 7 episodes, but I understand it from a marketing and branding standpoint on TNT's end.

I'm thrilled. I only caught the pilot, so I get to catch-up with the additional footage and then at the very least, the work and effort that were put into the S2 episode's will be seen. You have to figure this hit's relatively big though.

Wouldn't usually give a damn about a new generic cop show, but my boy Ben McKenzie (The OC, 88 Minutes) co-stars here, so I am without question going to check it out.

I highly doubt it makes it, but you never know. Hope I'm wrong.

I believe it starts April 9th.
