My husband and I just finished watching this series on our HBO on demand, and we loved it! The characters were all so wonderful, even the assholes. But it ended with such a cliffhanger - does anyone know if BBC is doing another season of this? I haven't been able to find any news about it, but then I'm not as adept at this stuff as some of you.

I'm on the second last episode. I've enjoyed it. Its light and entertaining. The secretary steels all of the scenes she's in.

Great episode this week. Best episode since the premiere. That guest actress who played the mother was so good - I know I've seen her before in something.

I love the secretary the most. And Wellington. I really like this show - it's different from most mystery type shows, which I like - it's not all blood and guts and shocking murders and stuff.

I also loved them breaking into the store. "Oh good, the alarm stopped ringing, that was getting really annoying."

I don't have HBO or I would be watching. I've read the book series and I loved them. I was thrilled they were making into a series. I will rent from netflix once it's over, that is if they put it out on DVD.

Wow, am I the only one left watching?

I was expecting the quality to drop off some for Ep 2 since the premiere was first made as if it were going to be a feature film, and it did, but only a little. This episode wasn't as good as the premiere, but it was still very enjoyable.

The secretary and gay guy are both over the top hilarity. Their fight was the best part of this ep. Paraphrasing:

"So what were you going to call me then?"

I love this show! I watched the premier movie the other day and it was awesome.

I love its quirkiness and over the top characters mixed with the beautiful and unique Botswana culture and I loved that it's actually filmed in Africa.

In the beginning when they show the little girl from behind I said "Ha, that little girl looks like a little version of Jill Scott" not knowing it was supposed to be her when she was little, until the voiceover started. The person...

I loved the premiere! I liked that it involved 4-5 separate mysteries. Jill Scott is so fantastic in this.

The second episode was kinda dragging until the alligator arrived! That scene was classic.

I liked it. It doesn't have the feel of the kind of drama I like from my HBO shows, but that could pick up. Maybe because she has to get experience as a detective?
