Just watched the last four episodes on my cable box's On Demand feature. It's okay at best, and it almost gives me a substitute for Nurse Jackie. Almost.

NBC grasping at straws to fill their time slots?
I can't believe they picked this shit fest up and canceled shows like Life etc

It's the cheaper of the two NBC medical dramas. Trauma costs $3-4 million per episode, which explains why it was conspicuously not among the shows picked up for a full season today.

I think it's so unrealistic. Each nurse has one patient for the entire show.

I really like Taylor Schilling, though.

I just read that it's been picked up for a full season, and that surprises me.

then one of them has to find a med needed... the pharmacy does that....

yeah, I watch for all that stuff too .. I'm a nurse and one thing we always had to do was go to the morgue with the orderly with the dead patients.

I tried to watch & at the beginning I could see a male orderly in the background making up a guerney & he fanned the sheet in the air & gave it a few pops before the sheet settled down on the bed & he leaned across it tucking in the edges...

I screamed bloody murder. He's in a ward where there were sick folks. Rule no 1 in bed making is no fanning of the sheets. That spreads bacteria. Then when he leaned across the bed he transfers any bacteria on his uniform to...

Yeah, I agree with that. She would have had clinicals, especially since she has her MASTERS in nursing.

thinking they portrayed her as a strong woman and she comes across not so much
the young nurse comes across like she's never seen a patient before...nurses have at least 3 years training before they graduate and take their state boards to become registered

Hmmm. No one comments on last night's show? This does not bode well.

I like this show, and I really like the actress who plays Veronica. I can't wait until she dumps her idiot husband and goes for hot doctor.
