They're two different seasons, and you can't say what Aras and Cirie would have done to JT.

And Terry didn't have a strategic mind. That much is evident in the way he (1) handled the idol and (2) just watch the merger episode.

He didn't understand or try to understand the Casaya dynamics, he just jumped right in right away, offering members of Casaya #5 and 6. And the pairs he was offering them to was random ... Cirie and Bruce? Bruce and Courtney? Aras and...

Who are all these strawmen you keep speaking for, and where did you get the idea that anybody who was the least bit impressed with JT's gameplay had to be a Fang fan or shat on Bob or Tom?

I have no issues with Tom advocates like Wyldawg also admiring JT's game, because that seems sensible and consistent.. The position I'm arguing against that embodied in CR's winner rankings (although it isn't too widekly shared).

Terry would vote for Cirie for the same reasons that Cirie got to see her husband in Exile Island. He believes someone with a family deserves it more.

Austin was an early juror who barely saw Cirie in action, but bonded with Aras on the Yonng Man's tribe. If two days of exile hell with Danielle wasn't enough for him to vote for her over Aras, Cirie had no chance.

When Shane posted here last fall he seemed bitter towards Cirie - planned to vote her out early on FvF if he'd been cast. He was pissed at both Aras and Cirie for "betraying" him, and pretty misogynist towards...

Well, I suppose that Terry could have voted for Cirie, but it seems unlikely. I guess we'll never know for sure, but I think Terry may have been a bit of a chauvinist in the same vein that Ben on Tocantins is.

And I agree with you, I would rather see someone with kids take the money than someone like Aras who probably wouldn't need it as much. I say that as one of Aras' biggest supporters( lol).

Aras taking Cirie could be like JT taking Stephen - risky but still winnable.

We know Cirie\Stephen were more strategic, but Aras was perceived as a nice guy and the leader. Cirie had a great personal growth story like Stephen (from coach potatao to surviving), but probably not enough to overcome that jury's partiality to the penis,

Aras - Austin, Courtney, Shane, Terry*
Cirie - Sally, Bruce, Danielle
* assuming he doesn't vote bitter...

For what it's worth, I don't think people are going to doubt that say...Earl's game was better overall than Randy's, or that Erinn played better than John Paylok. Just examples.

We don't know what he meant by that. Lots of people(Tocantins is a good example) for some reason are ashamed of their game play. Ara's' game doesn't suggest that he planned to take Cirie all the way to the finals and lose to her, unlike Sugar of Gabon who obviously planned to lose. There is a prejudice around these parts(As well as among casual viewers) that Survivor fans must inherently be better players than non fans.

Whether or not Aras would've won against Cirie, isn't it fact that he wanted to face her in the F2 so he could lose to her? And doesn't that kind of negate the point?

If not for Stephen, JT might have ended up as one of those strong likeable provider guys, on the fringes of power, that nobody seriously wants near F2. Like China James or Kota Bob.
