There was some kind of funny tension between them, but that's just how they played it: funny. I didn't get the impression that either meant anything serious at all. And in fact, they seemed rather fond of each other, despite the awkwardness. (Sexual tension?)

I didn't notice anything about their interview ending unexpectedly.

Anyone catch the show a couple nights ago? He accused Bullock of pandering to the audience by giving the audience sly "who the hell does this guy think he is" looks when Craig was doing some political schtick.
Then they went to a commercial. When the show returned, another guest was in her place.
Did she walk off the set?

Craig Ferguson is the best talk show on TV. The audience from the other Late Night Shows will laugh at jokes that aren't funny. Craig is so funny that I started taping the East Coast feed so I could rewind and watch parts again.

Like with any late night show other than Daily Show & Colbert I'll watch for the guests but Craig always entertains no matter who's interviewing or just doing his own thing. I love that they basically do what they want and aren't worried about hitting certain demos (if they are they hide it well). Compared to the neow neutered Conan and it's night and day.

I think that's basically how most people watch him, although I only hit the DVR record button when he's got a guest I'm interested in -- my SOP for all of the late night talkers, but refusing to watch Leno and if it's choice between Ferguson and someone else, Ferguson wins.

Anybody catch the ep when he was chatting with Alicia Silverstone (who btw is looging mahvellous again) and the lights went out?

And here we were thinking that him bitching about the...

I watch the recordings of the show every morning while drinking coffee and getting ready for work. There simply is no better way to start one's day.

I have mixed feelings about the new opening. The best thing about this show is that it IS cheap compared to the other late night shows. That's part of it's charm.

Craig sometimes tends to be a little too cute for his own good and I'm afraid this HD thing will only encourage him.

That being said, I loved the sense of space it gives to the set. Whereas Dave plays to a theater & Conan plays to a stadium, Craig plays only club dates.

And despite his lighting problems and lack of a band, it's better that way.

Only saw the first few minutes, but the Craig puppet is perfect. The puppet looks more like SD Craig than HD Craig does.

Craig is finally being broadcast in HD. He seems to be quite happy about the change.

To me, all it means is that I have the choice between a small letter boxed picture, or a zoom picture that cuts off the sides.

I just used craigferguson@cbs.com, which is his usual "do we have time for emails" address and which he said to use for the voting.

I did see that there's a website now though. Maybe all the sudden votes for Ahmadinejad are crashing it? Or maybe them Iranians hit it with a denial of service attack, North Korea style?

I'm still giggling about the White Lines intro. I actually ordered that CD for funzies.
