I was disappointed in the list in a lot of ways, but definitely appreciated Survivor getting the top spot. I feel like the media (do not make this a Fox News-esque rant) tends to ignore the significance of Survivor and acts as if it's not even on any more.

That said, the rest of the list is pretty to' up.

Solitary is easily a top 5 RTV show, the problem being that no one except a handful of us have seen it, whereas the Mole belongs, as does Boot Camp -- I never figured out why that series failed.

I don't think of Deadliest Catch as being reality TV. The competition is bolted onto a docudrama. A really interesting docudrama, but it's not RTV.

That list is crap! Big Brother should be in the top four, its got everything you'd want in a reality show. Though I agree, the Swan is one of the worst reality shows EVER, next to "I'm a Celebrity, Get my out of here!"
