        <![CDATA[ So I&#39;m doing what I usually do when it&#39;s too hot to sleep --&gt; watching TCM, but I am curious about a few things:


1. WHY do they talk so fast? Is it an economy thing --- the faster the dialogue the less film used?


2. Why don&#39;t we still use the term &quot;flatfoot&quot;? It&#39;s a great word, e.g. &quot;You&#39;ll never catch me, copper! You bunch of flatfoots
couldn&#39;t catch a cold, so cheese it Gumshoe. I&#39;ve got a dizzy dame with gams up the wazhoo I&#39;m sweet on.... ]]>

clothes and wonder if I&#39;m a nut case or maybe from another planet or France. A crowd gathers and all the men are wearing those cool hats and all the dames
have a Betty Grable hairdo.

			<description><![CDATA[ I love Bette Davis in Jezebel. There&#39;s another movie she&#39;s in called Dead Ringer where she plays twins -- one good, one evil -- which is a pretty good
(albeit somewhat cheesy) thriller. I&#39;ve only seen it once and really enjoyed it. I keep watching for it to come back on TCM, but no luck so far. ]]></description>
