Palin's brother, Chuck Heath, told Fox News he thought her resignation was due to the negativity from the media. According to Heath, the governor was unable to be affective while she was constantly having to defend herself against ethics complaints and the media.

Looks like it was Letterman after all.

For fucks sake people, Letterman did NOT get her to resign her job. He made an admittedly tasteless joke (which when taken in the context he meant it was a bit funny, but since the 12 yr old was there at the game it was skeevy) and she whined. That really has nothing to do with her quitting, I'm pretty sure of that fact.

Maybe she's sick or something?

Yea, the quitting thing is confusing.
It's far too early to just say "I'm not running again...." so something is up or she's just getting HORRIBLE advice from someone (or no advice from anyone which could be just as bad)
