That's what I thought too. He was basically told no one would ever take him seriously in court so....anyway I thought this was a great ep and burst out laughing at the car sex in the end. Love that family. I truly hope it does come back.

That was me. Yes, it's 100% confirmed for a new season, but not until January. However, NBC's been wiggy with their upfronts this year, so despite the initial confirmation, I remain a little nervous.

My view is that they're leaving us on a happy note until then instead of the long offseason cliffhanger from the end of last season. Nice of them if so, and I do think that's what's actually going on.

I thought last night's episode was a bit satisfying, as there was some closure on alot of things (such as Joe finally getting back on his feet, and Devalos getting his D.A. Job back). but I also thought it was a little disappointing as they made it look too easy (the other D.A. having terminal cancer, and this rich guy who was developing something similar to what Joe was doing was all of a sudden liking what Joe was doing even more).

I don't know, maybe next season they can...

You know, on L&O SVU they have unspeakable acts of violence against women, there must be a fucked up writer on that show too. House has had child victims several times, there must be a fucked up writer on that show too. I'm pretty sure some kid was killed/maimed by a land mine on M*A*S*H once, there must have been a fucked up writer on that show too.

I'm glad Joe got the quarter million and that he's getting a new job. At least the part about getting suckered by Meghan is consistent with the stuggles and knockdowns the DuBois family encounters. I just hope making Roseanne, er I mean Alison and her family a little richer isn't a jump the shark moment.

I liked that this season was a little less routine, with the family struggling, needing to borrow money from Joe's mom, Alison having to work for Cynthia Keener,...
