I agree with all of you. Very odd way of wrapping up the show. It looked to me that they patched it together and tried to give a good ending but failed. Oh well I am used to this cancel thing by now. I am still waiting for Everwood and Journeyman to come back. haha

Yea I wish this hadn't gotten all Simon Elder crazy. That first season is gold, this show should have just stuck with the crazy Darlings and their escapades. Much more interesting then all of the Lucy Liu stuff I didn't care for.

Yeah I thought there was supposed to be a big wrap-up too. All we get is a bunch of Simon Elder flashbacks cobbling together an excuse for an ending?

That sucked beyond comprehension.

And WTF was going on with the congressman's wife? The guy's somehow managed to find out about Carmelita (how is a gaping plot hole) and he's going to blackmail Patrick with the hotel pix with his wife?

I hate to say it, but now I see why this got canned.

Seriously they should have killed this character off long ago he sucked the life out of it. One more episode to go, at least last nights episode wasn't horrible. I love the Nick and Brian scenes together.

"Karen's sincerity killed the car" (Nick did mention that that car was the only thing availble to rent - but D4G is right, why didn't they hop down tot he local dealership and buy something new....?)

More of the Karen/Nick/Brian type stuff, less of the Simon is holding Nola's brother hostage crap, and this might've stuck around for a few more seasons. I actually laughed out loud at some of the lines!

I believe Carmelita was shot and killed...

Finally watched this episode this morning. Shit it deserves to be cancelled based on that one episode alone. I loved this show the first season, the second season with Simon killed it for me, I was looking forward to seeing Peter Krause so decided to watch it, what a major disappointment.
