Last episode for Season 3 was 12/12/06. Here's his stats: Erik Starting Weight: 407lbs Current Weight: 193lbs Total Weight Loss: 214lbs Total % of Weight Loss: 52.58% He says he put half of it back. That's at least 107 lbs., and I'm guessing it's closer to 130-140 lbs. of it back. EVEN if it's "just" 107 lbs....that's 107 lbs. added back in 24 months. Fuck, I wish I'd put him on my 09 Deathpool List.

I think it's natural to gain some of the weight back. There's been discussion how unhealthy some of the contestants look at the finale. Also, without the hardcore must lose weight to win attitude, there's bound to be weight gain. It's kind of sad, though, to see that a lot of the show's desired message goes on deaf ears; or, at least, the contestants don't seem to learn much. To me, it's more sad than anything.

I want to know what Mark from S5 looks like now. He was way too thin at the S5 finale and could have gained about 20lbs and looked pretty good.

OK, that just pisses me off. These people go through all of that with a whole country's worth of viewers pulling for them and then they go and get fat again? That's just LAME. Orca is lame too. She's on TV!!! If anyone has motivation to keep their weight down it's her. For her not to be able to do it is LAME! She should be shot.

Maybe they had jobs that are always in demand. Maybe they'll be homeless next year. Who gives a fuck? They got $100k. Heba probably knew roughly how much she could lose per week, knew how much she had left to lose, and knew that the other contestants couldn't or wouldn't achieve what she felt she could achieve.

I mean, seriously though. Are they really working out that many hours during a day that they had to quit their jobs to do it? Normally I wouldn't give it much thought. But right now with the way the economy is and the way unemployment is, jobs are mighty hard to come by all across the country. It seems to me that right now if you're lucky enough to have a good-paying job, you keep it.
