Good. It looked like the least interesting of HBO's new shows in development. I'm guessing they will pick up David Simon's new show, definitely Marty Scorsese's new show Boardwalk Empire, and hopefully, hopefully A Song of Ice and Fire.

Shoot, this was already in the works while Deadwood was still on...just on the back burner. Milch before Deadwood wanted to set a cop drama in Rome...but they were already doing Rome, so then he did Deadwood. Now that the JFC experiment didn't pan out, let's do a cop show set in the 70's. Serpico anyone?

I agree, but I would be lying if I said I'm not going to watch this new show.

An HBO version of NYPD Blue sounds way cooler than John from Cincinnati, and is more likely to be a ratings success.

The corruption aspect sounds kind of like The Shield, which also makes this a must-see for me.
