Why am I not shocked? This is the dullest crap ever. Sleep-inducing. Bad writing. Mediocre plot. As bad as it is, the unending voice-over has got to be the worst.

Just about the only decent thing in it is Kristanna Loken but she did a hell of a better job on the L Word.

That hardboiled detective noir dialog is just too corny.
Special Unit had that same tone, the cast couldn't say it with a straight face and it took a lot away from the show.

So what's the weekly plot going to be? PJ throws herself in the way of whatever to get her squad out of trouble in the end while squad chief looks on concerned, chiding her. yawn.

I just finished watching the fantastic SG1 episode. Guaranteed, after SG:Atlantis, I'll take a look at the re-do of PJ. As long as it's part of the 3 hour line-up, I'll be recording it. It is a little bit alias-ish but Jane is much more rough-around-the-edges than Sydney Bristow was (who was more of a badass nice girl). Jane is kind of like Bones (from bones) in terms of personality. She's sort of hardened by her experiences as a kid.

I saw a promo for it at the sci fi upfront and it looks like it could be a pretty cool show - Its based on a comic book and looks sort of like Buffy meets Alias (a girl with supernatural abilities working for the government). It stars Kristanna Loken (who played the nearly unstoppable she-bitch from Terminator 3)
