I want this to flop so Jay will go back to Ghost Whisperer.

Recorded it, haven't watched yet. I don't watch Ghost Whisperer, so it's fine with me if this becomes a good show.

There was a few good lines, it reminded me of "Action!" a bit with all the one liners. The laugh tracks sucks hard !

kinda has a 2.5 Men feel to it (Ed Begly/Judith's new hubby remind me of each other) without Charlie and focusing on the family - I'll definitely be
watching it again....

its a cbs sitcom. it has a laugh track. and stupid story lines. that's what cbs does with sitcoms.
(that's why diane ruggiero of "veronica mars" fame just left these cbs losers over that "ex list" fiasco.) jay mohr has great comedic timing as an actor and it showed in the pilot. i loved "action." i liked this show. there was some funny shit in there. although oddly, the cbs promotions showed none of these when they usually spoil every joke on every other sitcom. a weird and awful pilot promotion. i laughed. so i'll watch it until they cancel it. * the ideal sitcom on network television today is a "two and a half men" or a "life according to jim". like the ideal "protein" in life is spam. see how hip i am? i watch "top chef". i don't call it meat or fish (or pork) anymore. i call it "protein." not a rib-eye (arrested development), not a lobster (30 rock), not even a "never ending pasta bowl" at the olive garden (take your pick: "seinfield", "cheers", "mash"...) spam. * |

I never even heard of this show (thanks to Tivo, I don't do commercials) but I did love Action and do like Jay Mohr. I guess I'll give it a shot. I
don't know what I'd do without Sucks.

Agree with the thumbs up on giving this a chance. There are funny moments and it shows promise. Glad to see Ed Begley Jr on it. |

This is only new show that I like this fall. In fact, I love it. It makes me lol. I don't know if the premise has endurance but I'll enjoy it while it
lasts. Loved the 'did he have a fall?' line.

The daughter changed from the first show to the second. What's up with that?

for whatever reason, I'm glad she did. I love this show. Jay Mohr is the best and he pulls this off with style.

I like this show better than Christine, which has been disappointing so far this season.......

Is anyone besides me watching this show? It gets better every week - and Paula Marshall is awesome as the ex wife.

It may be just another sitcom starring a stand-up comic, but it's pretty good for what it is. |
