I remember Zoe's boot was "the most unpredictable episode in Survivor history." I always wondered if Zoe's mom was one of the promo writers

I've never read spoilers during a season, but from a spoiled point of view, I believe Christy's boot was a huge shocker. Heidi was supposed to go, and
when she suddenly got immunity both the spoiled and non-spoiled were thinking WTF?????
Last season I was really surprised that Dabu actually pulled off Ozzy's boot. I thought for sure it was Jason. Shawn in PI, Cecilia in CI, Ted in Thailand, and Jean-Robert in China are some random other big WTFs. I never thought they would be the ones to get the boot on the nights they were actually booted. |

Spoilers being wrong is part of the reason Ozzy's boot was so shocking. I remember reading it was Jason next from someone who had gotten everything right
so far, and then throughout the episode the editing made it look like Jason was going. They did include the typical "Maybe we should vote for Ozzy!"
for suspense, but I thought it would never happen. And then it did. That one sticks out in my mind as most shocking.

It seemed all set up to be Jason, and Probst said in a preview that someone did something REALLY stupid (Jason going down at the IC), so when the second vote for Ozzy actually popped up, I jumped out of my seat and screamed in shock. Other big WTFs: Until we saw Brandon's vote, I was sure Lex was going home when Kelly was booted; I didn't see Ian quitting at all; and then there was Blake, which really shocked me because I didn't think "Bait Blake" would ever work. |

Take a pick from one of the many blindsides last season like Erik, Ozzy, etc... James in China as well. Have only been watching live since S11 and spoiler free since S12, so missed many of the classics, I'm sure ones like John C and Rupert's PI boot must have been amazing live. |
